Privacy notice

How we use business contact details, and anything you share with us. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are

Allhaus is a trading name of Commerce Lane Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 17521748. Registered office: 73 Lower Sloane Street, London SW1W 8DA.

Contact for anything in this notice: hello@allhaus.co.uk. ICO registration number: pending.

When we contact your business

We sometimes email independent businesses to tell them about what we do. To do that we use:

We don't collect home addresses, personal social media, or any sensitive information.

Why we can do this

We rely on our legitimate interests in offering relevant services to businesses. We've weighed this against your interests: the details are already published for business purposes, we only contact limited companies, and it's easy to tell us to stop.

Telling us to stop

Reply "no" to any of our emails, or email hello@allhaus.co.uk, and we'll stop straight away. We keep only what we need to make sure we don't contact you again.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us send and check email: Instantly (sending), MillionVerifier (checking an address is real) and Zoho (our mailbox). Each handles the data under its own data protection terms. We never sell your details.

How long we keep it

If we haven't been in touch for 12 months, we delete your details. If you become a customer, our customer terms apply instead.

If you book a call

Booking a call uses Google Calendar's booking page, so Google processes the name, email and any notes you enter. We use what you send only to reply and to prepare for the call.

If you become a customer

Your accounts (payments, hosting, domain, email, phone) are opened in your business's name, under your own contract with each provider. Card payments are handled by the payment provider, and we never see card numbers. Where we set up or run systems that hold your customers' details, we do it on your instructions as your data processor, under a written agreement.

AI and automated features

Some Allhaus features use AI and automation, for example drafting order lists, summarising your inbox and flagging bills. They save time, but AI can make mistakes. Please check anything important yourself before you act on it, especially orders, payments, bills and deadlines, and keep an eye on your inbox directly too. We do the same in our own shops.

This website

This site has no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics. It remembers whether you picked light or dark mode in your own browser, and nothing else.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to us using it. Email hello@allhaus.co.uk. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
